A number of matches and segments have been announced for the “Dawn Of New Era” edition of WWE Raw.
WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce used social media on Sunday to share several major updates for tomorrow night’s live episode of Monday Night Raw, airing on Netflix from the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Addressing the fallout from Saturday Night’s Main Event, Pearce acknowledged that while the events of the night before still feel surreal, the show must go on.
He confirmed that Gunther will appear live on the broadcast. Pearce called him “The Ring General” and suggested he will be remembered as the person who forced John Cena to submit, referencing their Saturday encounter.
Pearce also announced that World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will return to the brand tomorrow night.
Two title matches were officially set in the video. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will defend her title against Raquel Rodriguez. In addition, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri will put her championship on the line against Ivy Nile.
Pearce also highlighted a tag team battle that he described as renewing “one of the greatest tag team rivalries of all time,” with The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) squaring off against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).
Also scheduled for the broadcast is a singles match between Rey Mysterio and Logan Paul.
