The Nebraska volleyball team, led by head coach Dani Busboom Kelly, dominated the 2024 season, securing their 36th conference title and fifth Big Ten championship with a 19-1 record. This success builds upon their previous achievements, including a 33-3 overall record, a 63-match home win streak, and a nation-leading home court win streak of 63 matches. The Huskers' prowess is evident in their hitting percentage, with a .355 team hitting percentage and a .234 gap between their hitting percentage and opponent hitting percentage, the best in the nation. Junior setter Bergen Reilly, a three-time AVCA All-Region selection, plays a pivotal role, averaging 10.41 assists per set and leading the team with a .400 or better hitting percentage nine times this season. The Huskers' success extends to the NCAA Tournament, where they have advanced to the Regional Final 34 times, the most in NCAA history. With a 137-38 all-time record in the NCAA Tournament, the Huskers rank second in postseason wins and winning percentage. The team's strength is further showcased through individual accolades, with Reilly, Andi Jackson, Harper Murray, and others earning recognition for their exceptional performances.
