The Raiders' coaching staff is expanding, with new additions bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. Klint Kubiak, the coach, has been busy assembling a strong team, including position coaches for both sides of the ball and a senior defensive assistant. Among the new hires, Zach Azzanni stands out as the newly appointed wide receivers coach, a role he has previously held with four other teams over the past nine years. His experience includes working with young talents like Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy during his time with the Denver Broncos. Azzanni's journey began in the college ranks, where he spent nearly two decades, including three years as an assistant head coach and receivers coach at Central Michigan, contributing to the recruitment of Antonio Brown. He also served as a graduate assistant under Urban Meyer at Bowling Green. The team is also welcoming Omar Young, who will lead the running backs, and Ronell Williams, who will coach the linebackers. Al Holcomb, a veteran coach with 30 years of experience, including 17 at the NFL level, will join as a senior defensive assistant, providing valuable support to the new defensive coordinator, Rob Leonard. These additions demonstrate the Raiders' commitment to building a strong and diverse coaching staff, with a focus on developing young talent and utilizing diverse coaching backgrounds.
