Chris Hemsworth's Daughter Needed Convincing for 'Avengers: Doomsday' Role!
In a recent revelation, Chris Hemsworth, the beloved MCU star, had to resort to bribery to get his daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, to film her scenes for the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday'. But wait, isn't she a professional actor? Well, it turns out that even the children of Hollywood's elite need a little extra motivation sometimes.
India, now a teenager, had previously starred alongside her father in 'Thor: Love and Thunder' in 2022. But as Hemsworth shared on 'The View', this time around, she wasn't so keen. With a roll of his eyes, he recounted, 'She's a teenager now, and she walks on set like, 'Ugh, how long is this gonna take?' I was like, 'We haven't even started yet!''.
But here's where it gets tricky. After just one take, India was ready to call it a day. Hemsworth revealed, 'She'd ask, 'Are we done?' and I'd have to negotiate to keep her on set'. The actor then shared a relatable parenting moment: he promised his daughter the funds to buy a motorbike she had her eye on, on the condition that she complete the required scenes.
'Avengers: Doomsday' is set to be a massive event in the MCU, bringing together a multitude of characters from across the Multiverse Saga. With the return of original X-Men stars and the introduction of new heroes, the film promises to be a fan favorite. But will it live up to the hype? And can it surpass the success of 'Avengers: Endgame'? Only time will tell, as the film is set to release on December 18, 2026.
Is it ethical to bribe your own child for work? Some might argue that Hemsworth's actions were justified, while others may see it as an abuse of parental power. What do you think?
